Last week the Wake Forest Center for Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) in conjunction with the University’s Entrepreneurship Society recognized NV5 Chairman and CEO, Dickerson Wright, with the annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award. The award highlights the accomplishments of an individual who espouses values of creativity and innovation through the growth of a business or organization. Winners are invited to speak before a group of Wake Forest student entrepreneurs whose new business ventures have won seed grants approved by ICE’s faculty and executive advisory council. Past winners include Jean Case, CEO of the Case Foundation, Deepa Pakianathan of Delphi Ventures, and Dave Orton, CEO of Aptina Imaging.
