In early June executives from NV5 were invited to China to explore opportunities for establishing joint venture agreements in China and North America in infrastructure, asset management, and environmental services. NV5 met with Chinese firms in the provinces of Guangzhou and Shenzhen, as well as Hong Kong.
The Chinese government has growing needs for infrastructure support and is interested in refining current regulations in building construction and inspection. “The strategic advantage for NV5 is unique because we have the opportunity to partner with a leading asset management and environmental firm as well as one of the foremost firms providing civil engineering services in China. These firms are also looking for a platform opportunity in North America lead by NV5,” said Chairman and CEO Dickerson Wright.
