North Carolina State University Steam Plant Renovations

By packaging cogeneration into a solution for the campus steam infrastructure needs, North Carolina State University reduced regional emissions, increased steam-production capacity, improved reliability and efficiency, and provided needed electrical generation on-site.

The utility plants were renovated to incorporate a new combustion turbine and heat recovery steam generators in addition to new boilers and a chiller.
