The Central Utility Plant (CUP) is an essential component of campuses and industrial complexes, providing the heating, cooling, and electricity to make them efficient, reliable, and comfortable for the employees, students, and visitors that use these facilities. With a host of components including boiler, chilled water, electrical and distribution systems, the CUP contains complex equipment that must be properly designed and maintained to ensure maximum efficiency and longevity. NV5’s engineers and technicians provide complete design and commissioning services for new and retro-fitted CUP systems. In addition, our condition assessments and retro-commissioning services analyze the condition of components and allow for proactive repair and replacement to keep CUP systems operating at peak performance.
