Cultural Resource Services

NV5’s Cultural Resource unit includes experienced and fully qualified archaeologists, architectural historians and historians. Whether analyzing archaeological sites or studying historic structures, these professionals provide expertise in the areas of documentary research, archaeological survey and analysis, historic architectural surveys, and the preparation of the reports necessary to achieve full regulatory compliance. The range of projects undertaken by our cultural resources staff includes cultural resource surveys, archaeological data recoveries, historic site surveys, Historic American Building Survey (HABS), Historic American Engineering Record (HAER), National Register of Historic Places nominations, historical studies and preservation plans.

The key to our success is our thorough review of all facts and project experience with officials who critique our reports, such as those assigned to state historic preservation agencies, the National Park Service, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
