This fall, NV5 announced the launch of a Community Relations division within our Infrastructure vertical. The Community Relations team includes five individuals who bring more than 100 years of combined experience in creating and executing targeted communication and public outreach programs for public affairs issues, water and environmental programs. The team is based in San Diego, California and has already worked with clients such as the Padre Dam Municipal Water District, San Diego County Water Authority, Vallecitos Water District, Olivenhain Municipal Water District, and the Cities of Oceanside, Imperial Beach, and Carlsbad.
Gabriela Dow is a member of the Community Relations team and has received numerous accolades in recent years for her work with Southern California startups, particularly in the eGovernment and sustainability sectors. Most recently, Gabriela has been involved in StartUp Circle, where she is founder and partner of an initiative to bring more than $1 billion of investments to San Diego startups over the next five years. Gabriela is also a partner at Plug and Play Tech Center, an organization that draws on resources for entrepreneurs in San Diego and Silicon Valley to increase the chances startups have to succeed.Â
