NV5’s Plaza de las Americas Project Wins ACEC New York Engineering Excellence Award

The American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York) announced that NV5’s Plaza de las Americas project received a Diamond award in the 2017 ACEC New York Engineering Excellence Awards. The project, which involved reconstruction of West 175th Street from Broadway to Wadsworth, transformed the plaza market into a beautiful multi-purpose open space for the community.

This award puts Plaza de las Americas in the running for the Empire award which is selected from all of the Diamond award winners and is given to the top-rated project in New York State. The project is also one of the finalists to represent ACEC New York in the national competition.
