The attendee will gain a new perspective on methods to determine the duration of a water loss involving building performance materials. Water loss claims are among the most frequent and contested losses. Efforts to understand the duration of the loss are critical in defending whether the loss was sudden and accidental or long-term in duration.
About Nolan Wells, PENolan Wells is a technical professional who combines hands-on experience with a solid educational background in applied physics and engineering. Mr. Wells has extensive knowledge of application, integration, upgrading, troubleshooting and quality testing high-tech mechanical equipment. Experience includes knowledgeable in mechanical systems, design, and components. Experience in national and state construction standards. Through training and research, he has excelled at forensic investigations with 12 publications on metal corrosion, vibration/acoustic analysis, wood deterioration, strain and failure of materials, and duration-of-loss. Extensive training in the corrosion process of building materials and industrial equipment when exposed to various environmental conditions.
