Our Services

DG Koch Associates LLC (DGKA) provides mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, medical gas, electrical and low voltage engineering services to building owners, architects, contractors, and additional clients nationwide.

Our energetic and dynamic firm was founded in 2006 by Donald G. Koch, P.E. With over 44 years of experience in the industry, DG Koch Associates has designed health care, high rise, hotels, churches, conference centers, schools, theaters, restaurants, office buildings, local and state government buildings, retail and light industrial spaces. Many of the non-governmental projects have been completed as fast track projects. We consider our Client’s goals and operation and maintenance requirements in selection of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems. We use proven systems and reputable products. Our design services utilize AutoCAD drawings and REVIT modeling. DGKA has also been involved with several successful Silver and Gold LEED Green Building Projects.  DG Koch Associates provides exceptional customer service to our clients on all levels, not only in our construction documents. We are responsive and available to communicate effectively to each client to ensure each job is successful.

Our Philosophy

DGKA offers expert engineering services to Clients interested in personal, quality services provided by experienced personnel. We pride ourselves on responsive team member and client communications, first-rate drawings, and attention to detail. Our Clients interface directly with Mr. Koch and Ms. Martinez, both who have substantial experience in the industry.

Quality Control

Our design philosophy offers our Clients proven systems using reputable products. We prefer simplified temperature, lighting controls and energy management systems and consider maintenance access in our designs. Our engineers look for opportunities to save the Client installation and operating costs, while maintaining the expected level of quality in the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. The hands-on supervision that our experienced project managers provide for projects and employees, coupled with their excellent organizational skills, yields a well designed drawing product for our Clients. We provide AutoCAD and REVIT files to the other disciplines when requested, so that the mechanical, plumbing and electrical equipment installations can be properly coordinated, avoiding conflicts in the field.
