The placement, which created the 13,600 cubic yard foundation of the 83-story Panorama Tower at 1101 Brickell Avenue, required 170 trucks and thirty hours to complete, according to the Miami Herald. NV5 collected about 600 concrete test samples that will be used for the quality control and compressive strength testing of the materials utilized in this placement. Testing of the samples will be performed by our accredited lab in Miami Lakes.
Panorama Tower will include 100,000 square feet of medical office space, a 2,000 car parking garage, a 208 room hotel, and over 50,000 square feet of luxury retail and restaurant space by the time it is completed in 2017. NV5 has provided services on several historic concrete placements in south Florida in recent years, including the Porsche Design Tower (10,327 cubic yards), Jade Signature (11,000 cubic yards), Mansions at Aqualina (12,000 cubic yards), Trump Palace (10,000 cubic yards), and Trump Royale (10,000 cubic yards).
