Tracey Shinsato Elected to Board of Goodwill Industries of the Columbia

NV5/Dade Moeller* Vice President Tracey Shinsato has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of the Columbia. Her new role will begin at the Goodwill annual meeting on March 24, 2015. Shinsato plans to serve on Goodwill’s strategic planning and personnel committees.

Prior to moving to Washington 11 years ago, Shinsato worked at Goodwill Industries of the Great Plains in Sioux City, Iowa, serving as Vice President of Retail Operations for most of her 11-year employment there. She is a 14-year resident of the Tri-Cities.

“I am very familiar with Goodwill and am looking forward to being involved with this organization again,” said Shinsato. “There’s personal satisfaction that comes with being involved with an organization that does so much good for individuals with disadvantaging conditions, and I hope to help make a difference.”

Fellow Dade Moeller employee Celeste Allen also serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of the Columbia. She joined the board 7 years ago and has served as secretary and as committee chair for the personnel and communications committees. A Richland resident since 2003 and NV5 employee since 2009, Allen is a technical editor and a member of the NIOSH Operations and Support Services division that Shinsato manages.

*Dade Moeller joined NV5 in May 2016.
