NV5/Dade Moeller* Senior Health Physicist [radiation safety scientist] Wayne M. Glines has been named to the 2013 Fellow Class of the Health Physics Society. He becomes the 14th current NV5/Dade Moeller employee to hold this prestigious honor, which recognizes senior members of the Society who have made significant contributions to the profession of health physics. Glines will receive the award tonight at the Health Physics Society’s Annual Meeting Awards Ceremony at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wis.
Glines is a Certified Health Physicist providing leadership and support for our business operations in the U.S. Department of Energy, dosimetry, and Homeland Security markets. Prior to joining the company in January 2012, Glines served for 15 years as the Senior Technical Advisor for Radiological Controls at the Department of Energy’s Richland Operations Office. In this role, he was the lead technical expert and advisor for the interpretation, implementation, and evaluation of radiological site services at the Department’s Hanford nuclear site. This included internal and external dosimetry programs, radiological instrumentation, and radiological exposure records.
Health Physics Society Fellows are nominated by their peers, endorsed by local Chapters of the organization, and approved by the Board of Directors. Glines is a member of the Society’s Columbia Chapter.
