Blythe Solar Phase II consists of the construction of Units 3 and 4, each with a generating capacity of 125MW. NV5 was selected by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to perform environmental compliance monitoring during the construction of Phase II of the Blythe Solar Project. The primary responsibility of the compliance monitor is to monitor and document NextEra Blythe Solar, LLC’s construction, compliance, and/or noncompliance with the project environmental requirements. The compliance monitor also reviews and approves variance requests, as appropriate to their authority level, for implementation of limited variations from mitigation measures previously agreed to by NextEra Blythe Solar, LLC or stipulated by other agencies.
NV5’s compliance monitor is on site daily to verify that construction activities are consistent with the appropriate regulations, standards, and approved documents.
