The iconic Churchill Downs horse racing facility in Louisville, KY houses several venues to view races and hold events. The expansion and renovation of the facility incorporated sound and television systems, including signal distribution, high-quality sound systems, digital signal processing, and amplification systems for restaurants, bars, simulcast areas, and concessions.
The 2nd floor clubhouse space includes the Aristides Lounge & Loft, a dining lounge, that can be set up in a banquet style and hold up to 300 guests or in a theatre style and hold up to 125 guests. Throughout the lounge, there are 90-inch flat panel displays, allowing guests to enjoy live races while also enjoying the lounge amenities. The 2nd floor also houses the Champions Bar and Gold Room and a concessions area.
The 3rd floor clubhouse is divided into two areas known as the Turf Club and Roses Lounge. Decorated with historic horse racing memorabilia, the two areas can hold between 1,000 and 1,500 guests. The club and lounge have perfect views of the track, in particular the final stretch and finish line.
