As part of a promise to bring the feel of the west to the state of Kentucky, Churchill Downs Inc. has built a new 275,000 SF racing, gaming, and hotel facility in the town of Oak Grove.
The hotel portion of the facility has 128 rooms while the HRM Facility is home to 1,300 slot machines and a simulcast room with 6 self-betting terminals and a 10-screen display wall. In addition to virtual horse racing, Oak Grove has a 13,000 SF grandstand overlooking the racetrack for guests to enjoy a real life race experience.
The complex features a variety of dining and entertainment options. The sports bar is equipped with a 300 SF video wall and eight 60-inch televisions. The bar is also a venue for live music events.
