LHTAC: Stone Bridge over Henry’s Fork

NV5 completed preliminary and final design and redesign with a modified interior support to simplify the replacement of a five-span bridge over the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River with a new 230-foot-long, two-span precast, pre-stressed girder bridge on a new alignment. The bridge is skewed to the river and located in an environmentally sensitive area, complicating both the design and the building process. The superstructure was founded on drilled shafts with semi-integral abutments. Services included all survey, roadway design, drainage design, right-of-way design and plans, traffic control, utility coordination and relocation plans, and support.
