This four-acre former industrial property was redeveloped by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. The project provides 232 beds for the houseless population and involved the construction of three structures and associated site improvements. Working collaboratively NV5 provided engineering design services and construction support for vapor intrusion/methane mitigation systems for the three structures. With an extremely short design schedule, NV5 provided construction-ready design documents to the project team on time, avoiding costly project delays and potential loss of project funding.
