MGM Macau Energy & Resource Efficiency

MGM Macau was the first of the MGM sites in Macau. Phase one of the casino floor accounts for 20,620 m2 (222,000 SF) over two levels and wraps around the Grande Praça; with table games and slot machines. The property includes a convention space of 1,452 m2 (15,630 SF), including The Grand Ballroom of 807 m2 for business meetings, social events, and weddings; in partner with Six Senses Spa. MGM Macau also features a number of restaurant outlets, bars, and lounges. There are 12 food and beverage outlets in total.

NV5 conducted energy audits, a chiller optimization program, energy management program, water efficiency assessments, energy information system, waste assessments, gas boiler replacement with heat pumps, and onsite workshops. Verified cumulative energy reductions have been 12% (year 1), 20% (year 2), and 25% (year 3).
