NV5 was retained as the Claims and Scheduling Support Consultant for Oakland and Macomb Counties’ interceptor drain (OMID) project. The project consisted of constructing five shafts that took several years to complete.
In order to construct these shafts, several things had to occur including temporary dewatering, excavation, a temporary earth retention system, temporary sewer flume, concrete base, shaft and roof construction, installation of flow control gates, and associated mechanical and electrical systems.
NV5 provided detailed critical path analyses of the contractor’s schedule updates and impacts.
