NV5 was contracted in 2013 to finalize the site planning and civil engineering design for the site layout, grading and drainage, utility and roadway infrastructure for the new 60,000sf community center. This state of the art facility contains an indoor gymnasium, work out room, commercial and demonstration kitchens, running track, (2) indoor pools and spas, and meeting rooms. The facility has intergraded green concepts like storm water infiltration, solar parking lot lights and geothermal well pumps. Building costs of the facility are approximately $16 million.
In November 2014, the Pueblo of Santa Ana secured additional funding to finalize the design and the building of Phase 2 of the Wellness Facility. Phase 2 consisted of the design and building of (1) collegiate size baseball field, (1) high school softball field, skate park, playground area, covered bleachers, concession stand, scorekeeper/maintenance building and related parking and roadway infrastructure. NV5 contract was extended to provide site planning and civil engineering design for the site layout, grading and drainage, utility and roadway infrastructure.
For both phases of the project, NV5 has provided on-going building administration support.
