NV5 is providing Owner’s Representation services to the Roaring Fork School District (RFSD) for the implementation of its 2015 District-wide Master Plan Bond Program. This program was made possible with the successful passing of the November 2015 Bond Election throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Prior to executing the District-wide Master Plan, RFSD had approximately 1,028,000 sq. ft. of facilities on 271 acres on the Western Slope. The program is comprised of 23 projects.
NV5 is working closely with the RFSD and Colorado Department of Education to provide tailored Owner’s Representation services for the pre-construction, construction, and post occupancy phases on the various projects noted above. These services included developing a schedule and phasing plan to complete all projects within a short time frame while minimizing disruption to students. NV5 is also procuring all project team member firms for the school facilities, managing design coordination between projects, facilitating contracts, running cost control, and managing construction.
In order to make the project transparent and engage the community, NV5 has assisted in organizing a series of Design Advisory Group meetings, community meetings, and open houses to obtain community input in the design of each facility, while maintaining RFSD goals and values.
