NV5 provided a multi-discipline resident inspector to observe the installation of all retrofit systems for the concrete structural upgrades for the city’s parking structures 2, 9, and 10. These upgrades involved repairs and reinforcing and supporting specific concrete beams, columns, and girders using epoxy injection and carbon-fiber reinforcement. In addition, parking spaces were brought into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
NV5 also provided the special inspectors and technicians necessary to perform high-stress dowel pull tests, adhesion tests, concrete inspection and testing, and soil compaction tests.
