NV5 provided site civil engineering in support of two, seven-story office towers, food court, banking pads, strip commercial, and fast food restaurants, all totaling in excess of 280,000 square feet (footprint) built. Tower development was over a three-level parking garage. Site engineering, grading plans, public water and sewer plans, and a seven lot parcel map were provided for the 12 acre retail/commercial project, as the first phase of the 23 acre Sorrento Towers project in San Diego.
Widening of Mira Mesa Boulevard and Scranton Road, in conjunction with the Mira Mesa Boulevard/I-805 interchange, were offsite improvements that NV5 also designed as a segment of the Sorrento Towers project.
Prior to completion of the project, a 17,000 square foot Staples Office Superstore was built on two parcels. An existing restaurant on one parcel was demolished and the new store was built. NV5 provided entitlements, mapping, documents, engineering services, and surveying.
