West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) Office

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority relocated their office to Hong Kong’s new Arts Hub sitting alongside the cities famous Victora Harbour. The Grade A covers 7 floors, with 70,000sqft office space, meeting facilities with executive floor, and spaces for conference and live media functions. The office design followed local Green Building Standards – “Beam Plus achieving Platinum”, improving the quality of the indoor environment, benefiting to health, wellbeing and productivity of its occupants, promoting, encourage energy-efficient buildings, systems and equipment.

Unique to the project was the Clients design request that all open office and enclosed room ceilings were to be clean without the visibility of mechanical and electrical equipment. Specialized floating rafts were designed and developed to house all MEP works including lighting and speakers.
