San Diego, CA (January 15, 2013) – Nolte Associates, Inc., a Nolte Vertical Five (NV5) company, continues to grow and expand services in the western region. The firm is pleased to welcome Dan Klausenstock, P.E. to their San Diego office.
Dan has over 28 years of experience with San Diego Gas & Electric, acquiring a multitude of experience in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power. His most recent experience was in the implementation of “smart grid” projects including switch automation and data acquisition systems. Prior to smart grid, Dan led a team of engineers and designers in the Transmission Engineering and Design Group for 10 years, managing large capital transmission line projects from concept through construction and commissioning.

In his new role, Dan will be responsible for providing technical expertise related to electrical distribution and transmission projects as well as helping to expand NV5’s role in the design and engineering of these systems. Dan is a graduate of San Diego State University and is registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of California.
