NV5 - Frost Science Museum, Miami

Frost Museum of Science

The highly anticipated Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in downtown Miami’s Museum Park rests on four acres of land with four state-of-the-art buildings across a 250,000 square-foot campus that includes a world-class planetarium and aquarium.

The North Wing and West Wings provide six floors of interactive exhibitions dedicated to the ecosystem of the Everglades, the evolution of flight, human biology, and more, with rooftops boasting both a lunar terrace with a telescope for stargazing and a solar terrace with an urban farm.

For the Frost Museum of Science, NV5 completed the testing and monitoring of the concrete pour for the new Gulf Stream Tank, which consisted of a 1,400 cubic yard continuous pour over a 25-hour period.
