The Harmon Corner Retail Center is a $100-million dollar, 135-foot-tall retail and restaurant enclosed shopping mall inspired by New York’s Times Square.
The project’s signature feature is a high-definition, full motion LED sign, which can display live video feed, paid advertising, video art, and three-dimensional images. The facility includes 17 retail stores and 3 restaurants, totaling 110,184 square feet.
Harmon Corner achieved a LEED Silver certification for the core and shell from the U.S. Green Building Council. Harmon Corner is using recycled building materials, a high-efficiency heating and cooling system designed to save energy, low-flow plumbing fixtures to conserve water, plus the building is designed to have over 50% of its interior illuminated by daylight to reduce the use of required energy and electrical costs.
