NV5 provided site planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for the development of this 130-bed medical center, hospital support building, central utility plant, and seven-story parking structure. Work was completed over a three-year period with multiple deliverable packages necessary to stage the project. Specifically, utility and grading design, site plan development, hardscape design, planting and irrigation design, and building administration services were provided for the 15-acre site. NV5 worked closely with other design team members to gain design and approvals within Kaiser Permanente’s and the City of Hillsboro’s design standards, requirements, and approval processes. Both civil and landscape designs incorporate the latest “green” concepts in alignment with Kaiser Permanente’s “Green Guide to Health Care” standards for all new medical facility developments. The project received LEED Gold certification.
