Truckee High School was originally constructed in the 1950s and has undergone numerous renovations since then. The current site contained a main campus, sand and gravel running track, several outbuildings, athletic fields, and an asphalt-paved access road and parking lots.
This renovation project removed and replaced the existing running track, improved the existing asphalt-paved parking lots and access road, provided new sidewalks and an access ramp in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, created a new restroom facility, and provided improvements to other appurtenant campus components.
NV5 prepared a geotechnical engineering report and a geologic hazards report in accordance with Department of the State Architect (DSA) and California Geological Survey (CGS) standards. We also provided earthwork observation and materials testing services during project construction.
