Single-award contract with a potential five-year term builds on NV5’s experience helping NGA acquire and deliver geophysical data supporting intelligence missions
HOUSTON, October 21, 2026 – NV5, a TiC Solutions company and leading provider of geospatial software and services, today announced that it was awarded the National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) Geophysical Data Purchasing & Survey Sourcing (GDPSS) contract, an up-to-five-year single-award program supporting NGA’s acquisition of commercial geophysical data and survey services. NGA may acquire data and survey services under the contract as mission requirements arise.

The award expands NV5’s role in supporting NGA’s access to commercial geophysical data and survey services. GDPSS provides NGA with a streamlined way to identify, access and acquire specialized geophysical datasets needed to support mapping, navigation and Earth modeling activities. NV5 sources this information through a diverse network of commercial providers that might otherwise be difficult, time-consuming or inefficient to access individually. When suitable data is unavailable, the program enables NGA to obtain new airborne, marine or terrestrial surveys in areas requiring additional coverage.
Through GDPSS, NV5 will leverage its global network of commercial data providers and survey operators to connect NGA with existing data sources and coordinate new surveys where needed. NV5’s established workflows and vendor relationships support timely delivery of data and survey solutions aligned with NGA’s requirements.
