‘Visualizing the World in 3D’ photo recap!

The Quantum Spatial team had an absolute blast hosting PDX Women in Tech for Visualizing the World in 3D.
The lively crowd of over 70 attendees enjoyed some hands-on learning with our interactive sandbox, structured light scanner, and spherical camera, while dining on tacos prior to the main speaking event. Once everyone was seated, they were treated to some truly remarkable presentations.  Quantum Spatial staff covered a wide variety of topics relating to remote sensing and geospatial analytics. Breakout sessions followed, which provided an intimate setting to learn about additional subject areas and to ask questions.  For presentation abstracts, click HERE to read our earlier post.
Several attendees remarked that they were surprised with the diversity of work Quantum Spatial is involved with and how much they learned over the course of the evening.  It was inspiring to see thoughts and ideas bounce back and forth through discussions between presenters and attendees as they synthesized concepts based on their own experiences.
Quantum Spatial would like to thank PDX Women in Tech for providing a platform that allowed us to share what we do because we have a lot passion and pride for our work.  We were moved by the amount of enthusiasm for geospatial technology and analytics within the community, and we look forward to attending future PDX WIT events!
